I believe some ping pong balls are not made of nitrocellulose.

Ti is not a bad as FeTi. I don't pump very many stars. I build round shell so I roll most all my stars.
I do pump my trunk stars.

Yes it will scratch your pump big time. Blond streamer comp is very nice by the way.

Don't pump any comp. that contains FeTi It will eat the pump up. Ether cut or roll
them.

Pistol primers do work for cores for round stars. It gives a crackling effect.
I have used #8 lead shot for years as cores, they work great.
