Everything gets glued and screwed down.
24' pontoon converted to barge. Have 2' x 4' wooden slats. For cakes. Mortar racks are screwed into the deck.
Never had anything tip over on me.
I use a...
Ive only paralleled 3 matches per cue in the past. If I need more, I just program another cue to fire at the same time. Usually there's a physical distance that makes this easier.
I just wasn't...
Minocqua area
I've never done series.
When I connect parallel I meter each match individually before I connect in parallel.
Never had a failure this way.
Actually every match gets metered when I get them in....
Slightly off topic, has anyone evaluated the raccoon 1.4pro product yet?
If so are there suppliers with product in stock?
Those thin sheets of particle board that are now on top of 500g cases make excellent bases to glue 200g cakes to. I use multiple 200g cakes cascade fused as the low part of my finale
I screw these...
This is tough to answer because a decent show requires Layering. I typically use 200g, 500g cakes, comets, mines, ball shells, canister shells and now that I have taken the display operator class a...
Strobing willow by raccoon
I posted an old picture, I've added reinforcement of 2x4 surrounding the outside.

24 shot rack, base is ripped 2x4' separated by 1/2" plywood dividers.
Raccoon strobing willow,
Under $100 case, great low to mid height.
I use 2 cases in all my shows.
I shoot only 2 or 3 shows a year, the biggest is a 20 minute 4th show on our lake. This is on a 24' pontoon converted to a "barge"
Completed display operator course in May,
I've now purchased a...
Great design and construction!
Quite frankly, you just can't fix stupid.
Personally I take pride in my shows and am constantly preaching safety.
I thought I knew a lot about fireworks safety until I took the display operator...

Last weeks purchase, definitely a good idea.
That's about 1/3 of my show next 4th.
160 mortars, and 80+ cakes...
Luckily I'm retired and have a lot of time.
So I tried a bit of an experiment in search of a 100% success in pass passfire from fuse to fuse. I purchased 300' of 1/4" heat shrink tubing.
I cut it to length for my mortar racks. Used it as a...
I think that's a great idea, in fact I'm going to set up a 4 cue Chinese system with 4 200g cakes

My simple setup
Just stopped at victory fireworks in Merrill WI
They have red, gold and green razzle cakes in stock. 2 for $40 retail, I didn't ask about wholesale. Hopefully some of this sites advertisers may...
Check out red razzle by pyro king.
I fired 3 at the same time, left, right and straight up angles, sort of a fan effect.
Its about a $15 -$20 cake if I remember, 25 shots.
I've ordered from them a few times, just had a minor issue with 1 order. Just want you to know they responded quickly and made it right. Solid company. I'd Highly recommend them.
Their new dark grey...
Thanks for the fuse test. I would have expected the white fuse to be much faster. I do plan on e firing a good number of the tubes. I have 10 noabs as part my show.
This really helps me out.
I'm going to re fuse some noabs for different timing that I want.
After uncovering the fuse area I've noticed double fuses of different colors connecting the tubes. I realize the last 2 or 3 connect...
