I had posted about a pro shoot we did for a town in NJ but the fireball images were not showing up properly so I'm going to try to add them to this post.

They've dubbed the 3 pots firing like this "Tres Diablos" lol

Is that a 12" round? Ya, and like 7ft tall. He consulted with Bill Corbet to help design it.

Nice Gene! SCHWEET! Thanks Joyce, the lead shooter on the crew I'm working with owns it. It's his baby. I swear he puts it under the covers in his bed at night. :) Was my first time being involved with it. Pretty crazy. lol

Gary Steele makes a 33gal called the executioner. 66" tall, 12" dia", and the base with tube is over #200. Looks very similar to your pics

Can't wait to pick mine up at PGI!

Yep I believe it's the same design. We putin 3 gallons of water and 30 gallons of gas. Something like 180lbs and the base is like another 40 or 50.

What is the purpose of the water? Does the burst/ignition charge float on the water?

No the charge is heavy enough that it sinks to the bottom. The way it's been explained to me is that the water acts like a cork since the gas sits on top of it. Also depending on the type of bottle and glue you are using for the charge, the water protects the bottle and glue from the gas eating away at those seals while sitting in the bottom for hours.

Some use water some don't.
