Just wanted to share my July 4th show. Plenty of minor mistakes and need to work on big shell angles. I had one 1.3g cake stop half way through, I guess a bad internal fuse...that was a first. Also need a little more spacing in my racks for the 3in shells so I don't get fuse jumping. very happy how it turned out though. camera view isn't perfect and most of the 8 in shells you can only see the bottom part of the effect, i'm not sure how to get the ground effects and the 8 in shells.

What sort of effect are those at 10:57. I've seen them before, but don't know what to look for to order something like it.

Nice show. It's a constant learning process since you really only have one chance to know if you got it right or not. Every show is essentially a rehearsal for the next one. So certainly looking forward to see what you do next year.

Those are go getters. Just looking at the video they appear to be 50 shot red and green go getter cakes. Below is a 50 shot multi-color consumer cake I've used before. I've also used a 100 shot 1.4 pro cake and they come in various single shot forms. I'm sure rthruska will share the exact cake he used. I love go getters and crossettes because they offer lots of action without the drumming of loud breaks drowning out the music.

Birdman is right. Red and Green go-getters from So76. Nice quiet effect and good color, timing was a little inconsistent in that a few of the cakes ended 5-10 sec early.

It is very motivating to watch show replays and learn how to make the next one better. I had a lot of people comment on wanting to see more slices, so next year tons of slices

Thanks, guys. I stumbled on the "Chromatic" from Pyro Planet this year, and got lots of comments on them as a crowd-pleaser. Now that I know what to look for, I can try to add some additional flavors in the future. I'm very much a noob and am trying to soak up knowledge as fast as I can.
