More technical stuff posted in the Articles of Pyrotechnics section of these boards, but a NEAR perfect show! I couldn't be happier with how this turned out!

Nice job Amada! I really like that salute flash curtain, I believe that they are under-utilized in today's shows..........thanks for posting........

Aewsome show! Loved everything about it. The timing was spot on. The effects were beautiful. Love the bright, vibrant colors. The use of effects for timing was spectacular.

What was the effect at the 13:38 mark? Looked like horsetails, but they were white and not the standard gold or orange. Very nice effect. I', a huge fan of the Dominator line and the ghost effects.

Great job!!

Thanks for the complements! I love every part of this show so much!! It is just how I envisioned it.
That horsetail/waterfall cake is is 2 parts of a 4 part compound cake, Golden Shower by Night Owk (RKM fireworks).

These were a few of the ThunderKing Instant cakes at the very end.

I see you got your MJG problem fix from the last show or did it end up being a module?

That was a great show I’ve been waiting to watch it the last few days but been busy cleaning up the 4th in the garage.

Well placed product and timing! Really like the layering and the levels you used full sky to put the show on.

Another show I will have to borrow some ideas from ;-)

Great show! I actually watched it on my phone shortly after it was posted but had a few distractions. I wanted to wait until I had chance to view it properly before commenting. I like you how you let the soundtrack shine as bright as the fireworks so they very much compliment each other throughout. Happy to see the weather conditions were much more favorable to you this year and you got good footage of the show. What was that firing around the 6:00 mark?

Amanda...great job...particularly loved how the soundtrack tied to the effects...elegant and subtle in areas where it needed to be!!!

That is a roman candle called The Big Stubby, basically go-getters but in roman candle form. I love them! A lot cheaper than go-getter cakes, but a bit more difficult to get the start time right. These were just a little slower than I wanted them, even scripted with an extra long prefire time.

Thank you! Elegant is the word I have heard most to describe this show, and it is exactly what I was going for!

As best as I can tell, I had 2 problems in my May show (Radioactive). The first one is that I didn't let the DMX fully load, and that impacted the same module which had cues not fire early, because it wasn't loaded. Lesson learned on that one. I also believe I had a bad batch of igniters. I went back and found one box that was crumbly, and it was a unique length that I only used for a few effects in the show. 6/10 of them didn't fire, including 2 fireballs. So.... I won't be using that batch again, and I am more careful about checking the igniters when fusing going forward.

They looked very similar to a roman candle I used last year. I believe it was called shooting stars. But yours looked a lot nicer then I recall mine looking. Thought maybe it was a pro item. Agree, difficult to get good timing on them because all of the fuse. I also ended up using a backup MJG on mine because the first time I used them one didn't light. I used visco connectors on mine then just an unshrouded MJG taped to the fuse cluster, along with a pretty long prefire. All fired last time. I'd be willing to pay a little extra for pro versions if they came ported and were near instant fire. Even the pro candles I've used before were a bit slower then I expected. That's why I'll just use consumer candles now.
