Do you mean safety fuse or standard visco/cannon fuse/fireworks fuse? Proper safety fuse is around 3/16" in diameter and waterproof. You can get it from Petro-Explo in Arlington, TX. It's expensive and you have to buy a huge spool:

If you mean the regular 1/8" diameter fuse, it's available at most of the more serious fireworks vendors.

Can you find magic whip or something similar? I've heard of people using that when they can't find fuse.

You might try a few gun stores and ask for "cannon fuse." They have it around here sometimes.

Also try hobby shops that sell model rocket supplies. Loooong before I was e-firing fireworks I was shooting model rocket with electronic rocket engine igniters. Then I learned you could light them with fuse and the hobby shops sold fuse for this purpose.
