Current Type 54 Licensing Timeline

Hey guys, just wanted to share my experience so far with getting licensed.


I mailed my application in on April 6th, 2023
They cashed my check April 17th, 2023
Received phone call from local IOI Agent May 16th, 2023.
Interview scheduled for May 22nd, 2023.


To say I'm excited is an understatement. I am located in Vermont and can't wait to finally be able to purchase and use 1.3g fireworks. Like everybody on here, I've probably watched all of Dave's videos on YouTube, so thank you Dave for all of the knowledge you've shared. I will finish the timeline after the interview and let everyone know how things went.

Thanks for joining the forums. I know many fireworks enthusiast stop by to read the forums and or follow my videos. When they register an account it great. Particularly when we hear they are obtaining an ATF license or working towards licensure. Keep us posted. Glad to hear I taught you something over the years.
