So my wife likes this show The Good Doctor, me not so much but she explained to me this scene where a guy had a firework embedded in his arm. So I had to see it for myself. Jump to 1:45 in the first clip. It ends at 2:31.
Second clip is the ER scene.

There so much comedy in this. First, there's a novel invention these days called x-rays, very useful. But, I guess in theory electrocautery could light off a pyrotechnic article of sorts. There's quite a bit a fire safety awareness and training for its use. There is actually a case study from the war in the middle east where a person was impaled trans-abdominal with an un-exploded piece of ordinance, I cant recall if it was a motar or an RPG. But the pictures were impressive.

there also an episode of the tv show 9-1-1 where a military buff who collected weapons all over had bought a dummy frag grenade and while he works on it it something happens where it ends up going off without the explosion (just the lift) and goes right into the guy's body. and they have to transfer him to the hospital from his home. as they are driving there 1 of the EMTs who served noticed it was an actual live grenade and not a practice dummy. i like that show. i found the episode interesting)
