Illinois resident/hobbiest. I put on small shows with my neighbor for friends and family. I’m looking to learn how to do things right and eventually looking at getting licensed. I live in a densely populated area so it may be tough. Looking forward to getting to know the group.

Dave offers a really good DVD mapping the whole process of how to pursue your type 54 so when you are ready to go that route you should look into it.

I think the 54 packet is temporarily unavailable due to Dave being to busy around the 4th to have time to ship them out. I'm sure it will be available shortly. I've noticed Dave hasn't posted much since just before the 4th so he's probably running around with his head cut off. He usually posts videos of the shows he worked on during this pyro season.
