Howdy,
Have been having our Annual 40Acre celebration, always on Saturday after the 4th of July, as long as I can remember.
Sometimes we had fireworks, most times in the early 80's we did not.
After I went in the service in 87, I would come home on leave, if I was in the US, and bring fireworks.
Retired from the Army in 2007 and always had to make a trip to Missouri, until Iowa changed our laws. YEAH!!!!!!!
.
Here is a link to our Annual Event.

Been doing fireworks for ever it seems, and only a few people missing fingers.
hahahaha just joking, we are fairly safe. Beer in one hand and ignitor in the other.
Well, ok, ok, except for that one time when the Deputy Sheriff drove by and his car got shot with a 40 smith and Wesson.
But that is another story....hahahahaha!
.
I came across your site while I was google searching if there was a better way to make my firework ignitor.
.
I am going to dig into your website, and see what there is to learn.
"Never to old to learn something new."
Don't know who said it, but it's a darn good quote.

I see your site is listed as 40 Acres. I referenced 40 acres in one my fireworks videos. LOL

I see you are looking for "Fireworks Igniter"
We have to bring you up to speed and fast. you can now purchase non regulated "Initiators" ( don't say Igniter) and some really nice wireless fireworks firing systems.

Haha, haven't thought of that song in awhile. Dad, gone since 99, was a truck driver all his life.
First heard it riding with him, delivering corn to the Mississippi river.
He purchased this place in 1972, and I bought it in 1996.
Our place is just a square chunk a land and it is 40 Acres.
Mostly woodland and a crick running through it.
.
Yes, I did look into the wireless, and had even thought about making up some of these

.
I like my hand held fuse ignitor. I was looking for improvements for it.
.
No nothing for sale. I posted it freely so anyone could build their own.
It works so easily. No open flame. It just works and works and works.
.
.
Ok, not used to this site yet. Struggling to get pics attached in the right place. I gave up.
I think I will just start a new post, another day.
.
I have it posted over on a Honda Pioneer forum already.
.
How not to burn your fingers lighting fireworks (https://www.hondapioneerforum.com/threads/how-not-to-burn-your-fingers-lighting-fireworks.32976/)
.
If that doesn't work, you can google
"Honda How not to burn your fingers lighting fireworks"
.
We use it all day during our annual event. Any 12 volt battery can make it work.
Mine that I use is still the first one I built 4 years ago. Lit many a fuse since then.
Yep, hahaha, looks like something a 12 year old would build, I know.
It just keeps working, so I have not needed to change it.
.
As I said above, I am looking for ways to improve it.
That's why I came to the experts on here.

Have a good day,
