A few years back I bought this firework from Phantom Fireworks (https://youtu.be/l5NWgk-QDyQ). The Maniac 68 shot 500 gram cake. This thing is a great addition to a finale. I had this with a zipper cake and other stuff. Blew people away. But I cant see to find something similar. Its $300 at Phantom now. So that's a no go.

Description: Stunning tail effects! King brocade, multi-color strobing, and gold palm! Finales of brocades with peony and crackling rain!

Any help would be appreciated. I am shopping Badaboom products.

Looking on Wikifireworks it looks like its a Phantom brand which means if true your not going to find it besides with them.

I believe you could build your own effect with some roman candles and save a lot of money. They will not go 150' in the air but you could do something almost like it.

Chain fuse 2 packages of there Strobing comet candles for one row and then the next row with 2 packages dragon tail candles

Besure to buy when there doing 1 buy get 2 ... each row would cost you around $16 or get the Maniac 3 for the price of 1 for $100 each and save the other 2

Amazing cake ... $100 amazing thats up to you

Good call. I like that idea. Maybe I will buy the roman candles at wholesale and get it going good. As for Phantom Fireworks and their Buy 1 get 2 sale. I'm not sure they are really doing that anymore. I guess there is still time to see. They do have an offer but they force you to buy a gift card first. I mean if Im gonna spend the money anyways, it doesnt matter. But Phantom wont get my cash anymore.

There might be a *little* relief in the cost of some zipper cakes coming soon. The tube spacing requirement was recently changed which will allow them (under certain conditions) to be made without the large tube spacing that most larger 500g cakes require. Smaller cake=less freight.

See https://blog.redlanternfireworks.com/5317/new-afsl-standard-issue-in-february-2022/ It has a summary of the change and link to the actual guidelines.

Therefore, for the 500g cakes, as long as the powder (single tube) <0.5g, and the inner tube size <0.5″, there will be no tube separation is required. This change can save a lot of space/cost for the zipper cakes.

I was just at a World Class demo and they had several new zipper cakes with this change.

World Class has 9mm or Black Dynamite which isn't exactly the same but it's close and cost $125.

Check out red razzle by pyro king.
I fired 3 at the same time, left, right and straight up angles, sort of a fan effect.
Its about a $15 -$20 cake if I remember, 25 shots.

You're about 4 hours away. Quite a bit further than my usual 1 1/2 hour drive. Wish I could though!
