WOW! The Houston oilers would fire a 3" salute after a touchdown, another for the PAT. The mortar was held in a scaled-down version of an oil derrick that was on the field near one of the end zones.

I was talking about this one my Facebook.
If I was the Shooter on that game I would have started pulling Salutes out of the finale to hand fire something for those extra touchdowns. Any kind a noise at that point would have kept the audience happy.

Here is where you have a Plan B as the local Shooter. You keep some Article of Pyrotechnic cakes in you vehicle as backup. If you don't need them. You take them back home and bring them next time. Why, because no special storage is needed on these AP products. A simple multiple shot Air Burst (Don't say salute) cake would have kept the audience happy for those extra unanticipated touchdowns. When in doubt just make some extra noise. LOL
They've had that issue a few ties.
