Do you guys glue noabs to a board? Or are they ok to set directly on the ground?

I set them directly on the ground, haven’t had one tip over. But maybe someone else has?

Usually on the ground. However I often shoot off a dock where I have 2ft x 4ft pieces of plywood slightly angled away from the audience due to distance between the two. Gluing cakes to the boards is a pain in the ass, especially for cleanup. I put two screws threw the side of the cakes or Noabs through the wood bottom and into the board. If I use any 200g that don't have a piece of wood in the bottom, I remove the paper from the bottom and glue it down because I have no other choice in that situation. If I'm on grass or dirt I usually stake them and wrap duct tape around it and the cakes.
