Alien Star Bombs sold by Shelton Fireworks (16s 1 & 5/8 inch).
Are these good shooters..? Does anyone know when these came out?

I've heard they're pretty good. Those are propably a little bit older considering the design on them. Almost all firecrackers are just red now.

I think those came out around 20 years ago too. As I recall they are average crackers, but they had a little star comp where the fuse entered the cracker, giving you some brief color before the bang.

Have 1999 acquisition year on this brand also. Have the 12', but this is the first 16's I've seen. All the others were 1 1/2".

I was gifted a brick of what looked like these crackers with the exact same barber-pole wrap but were actually miniature ground bloom flowers. I didn't save a pack or any labels, I gave them away to the neighbor's kids (with their Dad's permission of course).
