I'm looking for some continuity test bulbs for my cobra system. They sell them on the Cobra site but with the current boarder closure between Canada and the USA I can't justify spending $33 USD on shipping a $16 product. So I was wondering if anyone had any alternatives that work consistently with cobra tech?

Thanks

Easy--now that the Christmas season is around the corner--you can buy the blister packs of the tiny bulbs used in the plastic holder type lights for almost nothing---or you can get a string of led bulbs & cut them to use.
You can find the older style [not led] bulbs in strings of 25, 50 at the "dollar stores"====do you have those in Canada?

Look for 14v light bulbs with wire terminal base.

Email Cobra. They just posted on Facebook that they are able to ship some smaller items from Canada making shipping reasonable.

We talked about this type of test bulb elsewhere on the forums before. I'm not an electrical expert but I believe someone said a bulb for this application must have a resistor with a certain voltage range.
