Hi Gang, this weekend I setup a display for my brother in laws gender reveal Halloween party. I timed it out to music but being I have a Chinese firing system I had to rely on a spreadsheet with timing on it and a stopwatch to tell me which cues to fire. All in all it went pretty well. Some small stuff didn't go off but only I could tell that. I used a mix of MJG initiators both regular and the new visco ones and of course some quick fuse. I used some old Cat 6 data cable to connect initiators that were further away from cues so I could spread things out.

The whole show was only 3:30 seconds with the 30 last seconds being the reveal part. LOL Sadly for me, only 1 of 3 blue smoke cans went off and the blue fountain failed, but the blue 12 shot cake did go off so the reveal worked.

I didn't record it myself because I was to busy keeping timing to see much of what was happening in the sky. Other people did but it's not stable so I created one video that has a split screen of 2 of the people recording since one would be looking at bursts and the other would be looking at the launch. The single video might be more palatable to the pyro here.

Watch your ears at the reveal part, My brother in law starts screaming IT'S BLUE. lol

That's just awesome!! One of the best uses of pyro I can think of. Congrats to the soon to be new parents!! Make sure the little guy gets to see this video one day to let him know it was all for him!
