As I've said before, this is our first full summer of enjoying fireworks. Immediately after the Fourth we both said that we absolutely did not want to do a shoot for Labor Day. Of course fireworks would be a part of the holiday, but "NO SHOW"... You all know where this is going... By the end of July I was really finding it troubling that our "Boom Room" was almost empty. A week later we found out our favorite shoot site was going to be available if we wanted to do a Labor Day show...
Finding product was a little challenging, as was the pricing, but it could have been worse. We rounded up the product and got this together in about 10 days.
We had a big cake fail in the finale' that was a big part of the finale', but we were still pleased, and our audience seemed to enjoy the show.

Thank you Mississippipyro. Next project is to get a shoot together for my birthday at the beginning of October. Amazing how many different reasons we can come up with to light some fuses....

Thank you Mr.Wad. We appreciate the views and kind words. If I recall correctly, it was a post that you had made about the benefits of a Labor Day shoot vs. a Fourth of July shoot that really got me thinking about doing this one. Your points were spot on! Almost twenty degrees cooler on shoot day, and starting the show a full hour earlier that the Fourth. Thanks for sharing the wisdom.
