My brother had a baby during this pandemic and we finally got to meet her.. so I wanted to do something special for them.. I knew it had to all get done in one day by myself so I did not go overboard.. 15 cues..4min run time.. first time using my audiobox!!! ... my camera was set a touch low.. so I edited in from 2 other videos...and dubbed sound back in.. the nishiki?s are a little cutoff... but all in all was a huge success .. hope you enjoy!!

Looks good, thanks for posting the pictures and videos. Here is an example of even a small setup can still be fun and enhance a festive event. Did you make the boxes to hold the AP Slices? The more I look at the post shows using the AP Slices, the more I see advantage to placing them in a box with high side boards. like you have in that second box. When the shoot they apparent are pushing sideways pretty hard. Those high side boards can help stabilize. When you went to clean up do you remember if the other three slices sitting lower with no side support fell out of position or not?

Thanks guys,, I really appreciate it!!! Yes Dave, I made those boxes a few years ago,, but this was the first time I used these bigger caliber slices,, so they didn?t fit in my premade box.. the lower one is actually two mini pallets screwed together.. and I shoved them in between the slats... they were very tight when I put them in so I figured it was good... but after seeing all three of them lean to the right, they must?ve shifted immediately with the first shot... on one of them the bottom of the first tube even blew out ... but they were not noticeably lifted during cleanup .. and the fact that all 3 did the same thing,, I thought that was odd,, but for the future,, I will be making a box to properly support them

Great job Matt! I thought the timing and pace of the effects were really nice, and they went well with that song.

Congrats on the new addition!!

MattP..... very nice my friend and congrats....always fun to see some fireworks on non-4th and NYE events.... Saw a lot of product I know and love. Good choices there! Good music ... you'll be scripting in your head now when you hear a song you like....

Recommend you sent that camera to infinity manual focus so it stops trying to do it auto. Your "blurries" will go away.

Well done!

Add me to that list! I can't listen to music anymore without thinking what I could script to it.

Haha... thanks guys.. yes,, I am constantly doing that as well.. that’s what I love about CSC... I have a few songs scripted and saved in there just because I can.. LOL.. and yes that was filmed with my iPhone on a tripod.. I have to learn a little more about vid recording to correct that in the future.. thanks again.. always appreciate feedback!!!
