New member to the site, been reading threads for about a year and decided to join. I grew up shooting fireworks as a kid and like how far the hobby has come. Down side is I'm addicted to canisters but that always brings the police out. Hopefully open shoots will begin again soon, so I can get that itch fixed. Thanks for having me.

The best way to shoot in the type of environment you describe is to not blast stuff sporadically over a long period of time. Rather do not fire one thing all day and them around 9:30pm shoot a display that last between 3 to 6 min. This is an advantage in having a fireworks firing system. By the time anyone complains or makes phone calls ,everything is over.

Welcome aboard mikepete777! I was stationed at Dover for 9 years. Loved it. But you're right. Not a very fireworks friendly kind of place. The joke back then was, if you take the "D" out of Dover, it's over. Great place to raise kids though.

Anyway... Welcome aboard! Any plans for the 4th?
