Last year I bought a Cobra system and 2 18 firing modules for our July 4th show. This time I was going to get a couple 72's and attempt to do a more "timed" show.

To plan it out, I used my lifetime of video experience to create a "video" of the show with the Youtube video's on the resellers sites -

This is what it looks like:

From it, I can get the correct times to enter into show creator or a spreadsheet and if done right list of product names too. It takes a few minutes of setup... but once I got rolling it's very easy and quick to change the show around (like I did when I realized the first show was $$$$$)

What do ya'll think?

I was trying to do the same. My computer was struggling to process videos over eachother. I love the music, the pyro really brings the emotion to the forefront. The comets are placed really well. How exactly did you go about doing this? I'm very interested in learning more

I started to make a video about how it's done - I will work on it more tonight and let you know.

I think it's a great idea. The only caveat is that cakes' times can fluctuate a bit, and are sometimes changed year to year. So if I'm serious about cake timing, I try to find a couple of recent videos, as well as take a look at older ones.
