The Walt Disney Company is the largest consumer of fireworks in the world and the second largest purchaser of explosive devices, right behind the U.S. Department of Defense.

Between the parades, live shows, and nighttime firework spectaculars. Disney Parks spends over $50 million a year on fireworks and pyrotechnic effects.

It is estimated that Magic Kingdom's show, "Wishes" costs $41,000- $55,000 a night to produce.

I know they put on a pretty nice show every night and special dates even more. I was surprised their mortars "shot" don't use lift charges, more like compressed air I believe. You don't have the give away thump that something bigger is going up.

At one time Disney used to buy specialty shells from small US manufacturers. The plant near me made 3" crossette shells for them.

Only Disneyland uses compressed air.

I have a hard time believing those numbers. There probably spending $10k max per night if even that.

I live close to Disneyland, and I agree that their nightly shows in the Summer are not as large as a typical city 4th of July display. I'm sure they do put on $50K+ shows on special days, just not every night.
