A few weeks ago, a club I belong too asked me to put on a modest little pyro show the Saturday evening after Thanksgiving...so of course I obliged. Here was my setup for the 6-ish minute mini-show:

It was my first time poking cakes and I'll never go back to doing it any other way. Everything worked perfectly!

No pyro fun for me. I was too busy cooking in the kitchen! Glad to see someone let out some smoke. You're right about poking cakes. There's just no other way once you've tried electronically firing.

It looks like you are using the MJG Initiators. How did they work for you?

Fired a couple of fountains and 500g cakes (Titan by Stinger). The Titan was pretty nice am gone to get more.
