Im filling out my paperwork to send in for my license and I had a question.

Line 13 - Is a state local license or permit required for explosive business and/or operations

Which is the proper answer for an Indiana residence?

I put no on my application. I got the license for personal, non commercial use. The Indiana Department of Homeland Security lists some regulated explosives uses. I would assume that if you were in one of these, there would be some sort of registration required. Here is the list: https://www.in.gov/dhs/2381.htm

The answer is always no. You are not a legal expert to know the answer any way. I'm unsure why they ask that question. But then again they ask if you are a fugitive from justice . I want to meet they person that answers that one yes.

I believe that question is more aimed at blasters. If you have a blaster's license, there's a place to put the number or an "applied for" date. Agree that pretty much everyone else should put "No."
