Hi. I'm new here. I've been lurking in the forum and fireworks internet sites for an education, but I thought I'd join up. Since PA legalized the good stuff, my neighborhood organized every July 4 (and other holidays) at our local playground. I've spent a ton of money at Intergalactic Fireworks (20 minutes away) in an effort to stockpile. I'm concentrating on artillery shells. I got my start in fireworks when I was a kid. People sold them at school (I used my lunch money) and in the neighborhood. I'm kinda middle aged so it's been a while.

I look forward to learning and sharing info and resources with you guys. I use a cell phone to post. My family Monopolizes the computer. Sorry for typos. IMO, Android autocorrect is pure evil.

Thanks!

I live in the far northeast, near the Roosevelt Blvd and Red Lion Rd: about 5 minutes from where you can buy soda and actually afford it (no city tax).

Yup, you're close. I live near a playground where the neighborhood likes to get together and really celebrate July 4th. We like to celebrate the birth of our country by blowing up a small part of it (Simpsons reference). lol

That is awesome that your playground/park allows for this as most don't.
And welcome to pyrotalk! Central Pa here - about 35 miles from State College - we own Kneppy's Fireworks. If ever out this way - stop by.

We actually still need a permit to legally shoot 1.4 within the city, lol. The authorities have stated before that they are no longer taking fireworks complaint calls on the holidays as well, so... ;)

Ah Philly. The land of brotherly shove! Do you guys still have TV commercials for that azz-clown Allen Rothenberg "Thee Philadelphia lawyer?" Seemed like he was on every other commercial when we lived in Dover. Amazingly annoying man. Anyway...

Welcome to the forums!!

Yes, he's"the injury lawyer".

I drove in NYC and Philly. In Philly, we will let you merge. In NYC, they'll take your life first.

I was in Manhattan back in 1980 and again back in 2012. Stayed for a week each time. I didn't see much difference between the 2 trips. The place was just as busy and dirty and obnoxious. Wouldn't break my heart if I never set foot there again.

Wouldn't surprise me if he got plastic surgery. He seems like the type.
