Magazine in Storage Unit?

I?m rebuilding my outside shed that contains my current magazine and I inquired to a local storage unit facility about renting a small unit to house my magazine and the owner and manager both approved it. I then talked to my ATF agent who had no idea if that could be done or not. Has anyone tried this before and have any insight on it?

Yes, indeed. This would be non climate controlled without lighting, so essentially, no electricity inside the unit.

If is is empty I wouldn't think there would be a problem ...but..

1.4G ATF doesn't regulate that...If it is 1.3g I highly doubt it.!

I agree - i highly doubt it. But ATF has been known to aprove stranger things.
Been out of 1.3 for awhile - but even if 1 inpsector approves - next inspector can disaprove....

If the owner approves it.. and the AHJ approves it.. and it’s for temporary storage.. then possibly... I would think the AHJ is the one who makes the call here ... it is an unusual situation
