I shot my show tonight and recorded it with a Go Pro. The problem is the Go Pro split the video into two separate 3.9GB files.

Does anyone know how to splice them together? Can you point me in the direction of a program that will allow me to do that?

I really don't want to post two separate videos for my show.

Thanks in advance for the help!!

Oh... Here's a shot of my setup. I'm the fat guy on the right.

Pretty much any video editing software should do it; even something as basic as Movie Maker.

Yes you need video editing software of some sort to put the two files together. Roxio , Nero or some other ones that are out there. Even old versions will work.

My GoPro stopped working the night of my July 3rd shoot. Just before shoot time it would not turn on. Now I have video of my July 3rd shoot with the before and after part of the display , but no show part.

I just created a video with the built in video editor in Windows 10. You can splice together multiple videos.

The last show I recorded, I was stuck in a similar situation. It was a 16 minute show. I use virtual dub for the little I do. It's older, but it's free and works well for basic editing. If you decide to give it a go, go with this (http://virtualdub2.com/) version. There are also other free video editors that will work just as well. The windows movie movie maker is pretty decent for basic stuff too. The problem with it is the older version I have on my windows 7 computer can't open up the videos from my go pro 4.
