Cueing Individual Tubes from Cakes

I would like to attempt a pyromusical this year and thought about getting more precision from my show and cueing each shot of multi-shot cakes individually. Has anyone else here used this technique?

I know I would have to cut the internal fuse that connects each shot together in order to successfully do this.

Yes I have used it to test script. I just cut the fuse between tubes flush with the next tube and tape over it.

The bigger the tubes are in the cake, the easier it is to do.

of course its your choice,, and yes it will work,, but i dont get why anyone would want to do that when there are so many single shot items you can buy.. with most higher number multi shot cakes you would pretty much have to take the whole thing apart to get to those inner tubes.. then put it all back together... very time consuming.. but i guess it can save a few bucks going that route
