A 1932 episode of "Our Gang". The gang is traveling by train. Alfalfa let's a monkey loose, it then goes to the sleeping car; where the gang is sleeping. The monkey gets into their luggage and somehow sets off fireworks.

Then there's 'Ah Wilderness!' (1935). This is every kid's July 4th on steroids with close ups of all the fireworks that would have been used in the early 1900s including torpedoes, spit devils, HUGE salutes, rockets, Roman candles and of course strips of firecrackers - all in close-up glory. And yes, they were all real and all used on set as far as I understand. Back then July 4th started pretty much at sunrise waking up the parents and neighbors with near heart attack fervor. Out here it starts at 10AM :D

Great American Fourth of July and other Disasters....the narrator tours South of the Border fireworks and the father in the movie buys and lights fireworks throughout the movie.

The Sandlot... The boys run down a street as a bunch of fountains are lit, on their way to play a game under the fireworks.

Final Destination 3... two M80s scare a horse that tips over the display racks toward the people

IT (the original)....A bully uses a cherry bomb to intimidate another teenager.

The Wonder Years.... During a field trip to the planetarium to see an eclipse, a character drops a bunch of cherry bombs, ash cans, firecrackers and uses a cherry to destroy a toilet, getting himself arrested

Home Alone 2.... Kevin uses Roman candles to summon the police to Harry and Mervs location.

Born on the 4th of July.... jumping jacks and firecrackers are used during the parade scene at the beginning.

That 70s Show... Kelso is well known to like fireworks and uses them in several eposides.

The Simpson?s has several episodes with fireworks including Bart flushing a cherry bomb down the toilet, and Homer working with an Italian pyrotechnician to put on the towns show. He is even at the controls of a firing system.

The Sopranos... a teen in Italy throws firecrackers at a mob boss as a prank and is promptly ?tuned up? by Furio Dante.

As a kid I had to have a magnifying glass after watching this one. Spent a summer as a kid burning anything I could with it.
