I have a privately held ATF license holder that has his own indoor magazine. He is schedule for an audit. He will be anonymous but will read your comments. Any advice on what the ATF will be looking for during the audit ? Please free free to post.

Size of magazine, location within the building, building use, occupency of the building, hazards within the building, Electrical distrubution, fire surpression distribution, building construction, building fondation, building location, what is surrouding the building. I can keep going..

The magazine is approved. He is in the middle of his license period. Sort of a random inspection.

Better keep GOOD records of what you buy and shoot.

I dont have my own magazine .. but if its a routine audit i would imagine they want to see all of the paperwork for all purchases and product in and out of magazine dates.. and if they check thoroughly i would imagine they make sure the dates on the paperwork all line up..

They wanted to see the log book and that's it. Didnt care about what I bought or how it was used. They just needed to see proper in and out inventory
