OK so i know the difference of the 2 but can i still buy 1.3g with a type 20 just like as if i have a type 54? and what are the pros and cons VS. the 2 permits? im just trying to get my thoughts together so i can figure what one to apply for. i have had my 54 in the past but it ran out as i was moving here in Wisconsin and would like to apply for one of them now that im getting settles here in Wisconsin. any help i would love. thanks.

Stay with the type 54 Kelly. The 20 is for manufacturing--which you are not doing--and it involves a lot more scrutiny.

As long as you're not trying to sell what you build, a type 54 will cover you for transportation and owning a magazine. It's extra steps, paperwork, and money to get a type 20.

Only upside other than the ability to sell what you build, which is a tough thing to do when you look at the time it takes to build stuff.... Is that there are a few chemical suppliers that will only sell to type 20 holders. I choose not to deal with them.
