View Full Version : New ATF Licensee from Central Pa

Just wanted to extend a hello to the community here.
I recently purchased Dave's ATF package and, amazingly, had a turnaround time of just over 3 weeks from start to license-in-hand (actually, permit-in-hand) on my application. Sent in on 8/20, check cashed on 8/23, interview on 8/28, and I now have my license, and will be attending the open shoot in Clearfield Pa at Fireart on 10/20. Hope to get to know some folks over the years.

Yes, responsibly! I am excited to learn how to shoot this stuff properly and hopefully someday assist in a real show.
FWIW my inspector was extremely nice and helpful. She was actually very knowledgeable on fireworks laws in my local area (I?ve heard some aren?t due to being more focused on firearms) but it was a great experience. I need to start building some racks now!

Rob - Great job on the 54. Glad everything worked fast and smoothly for you. Hopefully you get to use it safely and learn a ton.
