Thats a really cool idea.. and I like how the other hats are solid color for the men in the field.. so you can tell whos who just by seeing the color out there!!!

I may have to borrow this idea... My wife always complains when she can't see me moving around while hand lighting. Like the red white and blue, lighted one a bit better than the other.

Do you wear earplugs or muffs? ear plug+ safety glasses + fire resistant pants and shirt plus gloves if hand firing

feel free to. they have all colors that will work on 3v to 5v battery if need help with making the hat let me know.

If you wear ear plugs when hand firing, how do you guys communicate? The point I'm trying to make is that ear protection can become a safety issue in the event of some sort of failure.

Yeah, with how bright and power effecient modern LEDs have become, they shouild be very bright and run for a very long time. The next step is to sew some EL wire onto your jackets and pants so you're lit up like a christmas tree. It'll be a show in the show under the show.
