That show was sick last night! I went to bed with ears ringing, just like I like! Unreal!

Great show. Old school timing, ground pieces, and a real grand finale. Done in 30 minutes. Leave out the music and it would have been near perfection. There's a couple of lessons to be learned 1) Sky puke sucks. Sorry guys, but fifteen 500-gram cakes all going off at once is not enjoyable. Quality, not quantity. Less is more. 2) Music and fireworks do not mix. Who wants annoying music you wouldn't listen to in the first place blaring in your ears, competing with the audio effects of the pyro. And, 99.99% of the time, the music is not synchronized. Watch the video again without the crappy music.

@cherrybomb1 - it definitely was.

@vegassalute - yea man, a lot of ear ringing at the end.

@RalphieJ - totally with you. I never was a fan of music during fireworks, it takes away from the breaks and is an annoyance to me. Its a shame that the trend is that everyone HAS to do a musical these days. Ill still work them regardless, lol.

Did anyone catch the company name that shot the 1.4 aerial product demo before OPAGs show? Those breaks were beast.

Mixed feelings on this one:
1. BORING---I had to force myself to dredge thru the whole thing listening to Sagaria giving his mini speeches.
2. It was worse than the 2016 PGI display he did that went on for over 45 minutes with no logic to it.
3. I wouldn't call this a "pyro musical"--more of a fireworks show with music playing during the shoot---I have seen guys do 1.4g pyro musicals that were "spot on" with timing and effects with very little poduct and incredible emotional dynamics.
4. Shells going off while he was talking??? What was that all about???
5. Scripting--refer to #3......music was a total distraction! No fluid theme in music/story line!
6. Product--there was a lot of beautiful shells in the show. That I will give him credit for.
7. Finale--He always puts a ton of product in the air for his finale so any thump junkie would enjoy that.. Sometimes, though, less is better---learn a lesson from the Italian "batteria" displays on how to build up to a crescendo for the ending.
***stepping down from my soap box****

I can't disagree with you guys' opinions on music, it is a distraction. Like you, I love to hear all aspects of the pyro, from beautiful lift-charge detonation, rising effects (if any), right on through to that magnificent burst charge. I hope some members of the public left last night wanting more. If we created a few more pyros from this week's events, mission accomplished as far as I'm concerned.

Joe, you are funny, I heard similar comments about the speeches in the display when he did the display at the PGI Pennsylvania. Some felt it was too much of a self promoting retrospective. I did not see his display at the NFA this year. What I do have here is the Kneppys Fireworks National Anthem and the display Northern Sky helped with.

Ha Ha I have a video interview of Sally from China Sky and she ate dinner with me. And I have that on video also. She is one of the few people from China that recognize me.
