Does anyone know some good 500g cakes, Roman Candles and mortar brands. I'm prepping for this New Years shoot out in the desert. I want to put on a good show. I'm not sure what is good to get. Any Ideas would be great. For now it has to be 1.4 fireworks.

Thank you

For 1.4 mortars I would recomend canister shells, Mega Banger Exterminators or H.D. shells, Bigs' Pro shells, or Ecals all have big breaks and good hang time. Any one of theese will get a response from the spectators.....after thought, it seems like Excals are becoming harder to find.

Also I do not want to buy from Phantom. I will be buying from Roller Coaster fireworks out of Nevada. They are closer to me then phantom. Instead of a 8 hr drive I only have a 6 hour drive. There website site does not show what they carry. But if I know some brand names then I can ask them if they carry that. Do you think a $500.0 budget will be enough?

Thanks for the replies.

Well, buying retail.... Depending on what ya buy... $500 budget will get ya about 15 - 20 cakes mixed....more of the 200G than anything....

Brands can be specific to whats good... BIGS has quite a bit of items I like... Dont think I found one I dont like so far from them... Guess would be easier if you could get a inventory list from them

I did some digging and it looks like Roller Coaster Fireworks sell world class. I also came across that there are several firework outlets in Schurv Nevada on a reservation. You may want to check that out. World class products I would go with, crazy exciting, anger management, big boss, beware,

I've been up to the Indian reservation. The place I shop is only open in July. There is one open all year on the reservation but is real small. Big Fireworks is 8 hours from where I'm at. Would that be the place to go. Since they offer wholesale so would I get more for my money? Again thanks for all the help.

Wholesale is always better for the price...

you need to spend $3000 to get wholesale.

I think that Bigs is giving everyone the vip price, 30% off. It isn't as good as wholesale but its money being saved

I won't be spending 3g's this year. Maybe next year. It will be a hard choice on where I decide to buy. Anyway thanks for all the info.
