This is my first year of going wholesale. I'd have to say it's a way better deal if you spend a lot. I didn't think i had enough $$ for it to be worth while so I asked around here for some tips on how to raise some more funds and the tip jar idea came up so I put one out and ended up raising $400..way more than I expected. Anyways here's the stash, I had it shipped from Wisconsin(starspanglednovelties) to Oklahoma freight terminal. Now it's time to build some more mortar racks!

Sorry, I am new. But you got that for $400 bucks?

No the $400 was the amount in tips from last years show. The total cost was $1,050.

You would actually be surprised at what you can get for $400 if you know how, where and what to shop for. ;)

I would like to learn. I typically shop at sky king and spend around 1300-1700 each year. I usually get several hundred shells and about 1.5-2 dozen cakes. Mix of mostly 500g and a good spread of 200g.

If you stayed in that price range and bought wholesale, you would get more than double the amount in product.

And better product too.

What is that you are wanting to know about, is it the process of doing so or??

Damn, you need to go up to Intergalactic Fireworks just north of Philadelphia off of Business Rt1.
They are excellent people to deal with. You can even email them and get a wholesale list.

Thanks, I didnt know. Its fixed now. Check out my stash pics, those 2 pics together are somewhat around your price range.

I know it's hard to tell since it's all stacked up. But it's about 20 500g and like 16-17 200g with at least 200 shells and some misc tubes and 1 big Roman candle.

So then your average case price is $85. Seems about right to me. My buddy and I bought over $9K worth of stuff from SO76 and we qualified for their best pricing, and we came out at about $75 a case. Of course that includes the shipping costs averaged in too.

If you buy from wfboom, and you do your order in the early spring, you can get 40% off of wholesale price if you spend $1200 or more. That's the best deal I've found... Lots of places sell wholesale, but I've never seen the 40% deal anywhere else. And their service is top notch too. To me they're the "Cobra" of fireworks dealers.
