Thank you Dave for your DVD and videos, and thank you to many members here for the posts of your experiences and advice about getting your Type-54 ATF fireworks license.

As of today's mail, I am officially part of "Club 54"! I am excited to say that I will be doing some shooting with one of Dave's sponsor companies throughout this year, and look very forward to gaining more great experience with display fireworks.

Next up will be going for my CDL with Hazmat, and then, because New Jersey is "special", I will need to go for a blaster's license in order to use electronic firing systems.

My thanks again to so many here for their posts of experiences, helpful replies, and courtesy to fellow pyros in keeping the interest in pyrotechnics going and growing!

Great news , congratulations on receiving your ATF license. It couldn’t of happened at a better time of year. Add another ATF license number to the state of New Jersey and another 1.3 customer to a fireworks distributor.

LOL :) ... Though, instead of a handshake, I would rather expect to see a secret 'salute' exchange. ;)

I had to do a little something last night to celebrate ... so I was able to get some of my neighbors out, and had their youngest son hit-the-switch to light up a few 200-gram 1.4 cakes:

^^ of note at the end of the video, everything did go off just fine, from a distance I thought I only saw 2 cakes going off, but they worked awesome together in the sky.
