This is a video I am releasing public on my youtube channel. Three day delivery to my home from Spirit of 76 Fireworks 720 miles away. I will be shooting a large portion of these on Saturday in Titusville at the picnic I was invite to by one of the ATF licensed forums members. We will be shooting a mix on 1.3 and 1.4 fireworks.
Spirit of 76 Fireworks is one of my advertisers with shipping options available, as we saw in some of the prior post from Florida.

Dave, out of curiosity, what is that flat package on the left of the first picture after the video? Wheels? Has me intrigued for some reason.

That's awesome Dave! I'm thinking of placing an order with them this year myself.

That flat box is some pro stuff, cause I'm pro like that right. LOL I see if I can get some pictures up tonight to take a better look at it and see what it is.

Thanks for the video and pictures Dave! That is some great information for people who have not received a shipment of fireworks yet.

I completely dropped the ball this year in ordering way too late. I will be giving 76 a try next year as well.

That's the main thing that stops me from ordering... No way their getting a semi into my neighborhood... And my equinox would have to make a bunch of trips to haul that much back... Gotta buy a cheap trailer to tow behind... Then i could pick up at the cross dock down the street

I've ordered from '76 for the last couple years now. First class operation, they've been great to me. I have 190 cases coming this year. I would highly recommend them.

190 cases of fireworks unbelievable. Thanks for posting that information, I believe Consumer Fireworks are now full legal in the state of Iowa. You are ready to break the first year with a bang.

I see you got some One Bad Piggy's, Sky Patriot, #Boom, ProLine strobes and some Hellcat cans. I shot all of those last year and ordered them again this year. You won't be disappointed! They have some nice fan slices too. I'm doing two shows this year one for the 4th with a bunch of friends and another in September for a local event. I'll try and video the shoots and post them later. Both are going to be pyromusicals shot with the Cobra system.

Yes, the fireworks law did pass this year.....Finally after trying for the last couple of years. With the law cities/counties are able to "opt out" and still make it illegal to shoot them in city limits or county. They can't stop the sales of fireworks as long as the area is zoned for that type of sales. I've obtained a permit to shoot mine for the last couple of years. The big thing now is the larger city's deciding what they are going to do.

Dave, be careful with the Lollipop slices. They hit the ground even at 20 feet of elevation.

That's a weird cake... It shoots like 225 degrees... Gotta see you use that... It would have to be up high or over water to not cause an issue... I gotta find a video of it

I want to test out the strobes for a future video. Does anyone have or know of a good royalty free song to go with two strobes burning at the same time? I know they go well with a fast drum beat type song.

There's plenty of options with movie soundtracks,
Not sure they are treated the same as music. More popular more likely YouTube will strip the sound out. Chicago bulls thene would be a good one.

And don't blink your eyes, duration of approx 4 seconds.

I don't understand why that plastic top is being put on shells now. A piece of string does the same thing and I would assume for not nearly as much. Maybe they're putting it on shells now beacuse you can feel it at night without having to look at it. Also looks like it's the factory who decided to put them on. Looks like this will be standard for many shells in the near future.

That much more trash to pickup or hit someone. I'd probably take the plastic off before loading.

you still could put in upside down, not sure whats the idea.

PyroMike79
05-26-2017, 01:24 PM
I am sure the reason is to try and make it harder to load them upside down. Not sure it really accomplishes that goal. But regardless it just looks like a lot of debris. I can imagine a couple of cases worth raining down on the shoot site-fun cleanup time. Reminds me of those Saturn Missile Batteries-lots of little plastic tubes falling everywhere.

I'm happy to hear you say that! I ordered all of that from SO76 this year too. The videos looked very nice, but you never know until you shoot it yourself.

Rolling Stones - "Under cover of the night."

Don't know if it's royalty free, but it has a great beat that should go well with the strobes.

Looks like a good haul of fireworks I'm sure they will be a blast.
