Strange Quick Match

Here are pictures sent to me of a strange quick match. If you magnify the pictures it looks like it started out as strands.

Quite a bit of black powder... How does it burn? Any slower than the regular stranded stuff?

it looks like the newer 1.4g quick match. the 60 foot bundle of it that i got from fireart was blue and looked just like it but was slightly thinner but still had decent amount of black powder composition in it. and it burned like normal quick match and was waterproof. in fact one 3 foot piece i tested seemed a tad faster than the 1.3g version.
