Question about mortar tubes.

okay so I have a rack of 1.75 inch mortar tubes, can i shoot 1.5 inch canister and 1 inch balls out of the 1.75 inch mortar rack? please help! thank you!

My thoughts? NO and NO!!!
Way too much blow by. Hence shells wont' get very high.

They are not going to go very high. lol
Just messing around in a controlled, safe environment, I have shot 1.5" noisy ball shells out of 1.75" tubes and they only went about 20-30 feet high.
I'v never tried 1" but I'm not even sure if a 1" would even make it out of the tube. If it did, it would probably just plop right out on the ground. lol

So for a show and such, bad idea. Maybe just messing around by yourself as long as you have proper space and a safe environment, give it a try and you will see what i mean. :cool:
