south carolina weather - matthew

i heard the S.C slammed from matthew so just checking in on our S.C forum members. from the pictures is saw from the shore lines it looks really bad. im keeping everyone in my thoughts that are / have been in the path of this storm.

We just got our power back a couple of hours ago. It went out sometime in the moning on the 8th. Some reas outside the city are still without power. There was a bit of flooding near the level of what we had last year, but not quite. Most was from the storm surge, but alot of water fell over the state. Trees were downed, but this was no Hugo. All in all, it could've been far, far worse. I'm glade it didn't hit during July or Augest. These past few nights have been nice and cool.
