I was thinking about some ideas for new years. I have 2 phandemonium cakes. I was wondering if theres any way to acess the cake with an ematch about mid way and more or less split the cake and use it as 2. Im sure i would have to cut a fuse somewhere to keep it from burning from the middle out..if that makes any sense.

Absolutely. You'll probably be able to easily remove the small bridge fuse between tubes.

Cool. Now i just have to figure out which part of the cake to access. I want to fire the real fast part first.

There are all kinds of videos out there on how to carve up a cake. You just need to make sure you figure out a way to secure the final product so it doesn't blow off in the wrong direction!

Cut off the paper top, pull out the Styrofoam separating the tubes, and you should be able to see how it's fused. Should be pretty straight forward from there.

I'm not familiar with this cake but can you just shoot it backwards? Ematch the last tube to enable shooting the fast part first? That way your not breaking the cake apart.

Ok so with this cake I'd match in 3 spots. Ematch row 10, remove fuse between row 9 and 10. Ematch row 1. Ematch row 16, remove fuse between row 15 and row 16. So fire row 10, row 1 then row 16 at any point in the show.

Maybe this cake you could find cheaper than the other one?
