Picked this up yesterday ,Does any one know if i need to line it with wood? I have the locks ordered

Wow nice find, try to get some detailed pictures and post them so some of the members can give you some advice. On a side note I am in negotiations with a major explosive magazine distributor I may soon be adding to pyrotalk. But it is sure nice making a find like you did with this one.

If anybody is interested in finding explosive magazines. I would suggest U.S. surplus and Military surplus websites. Its a hit or miss, but sometimes you can find a good magazine or container for cheap. And best of all, they are located all over usually at Military bases, so it might be beneficial for some members since it could be closer to them.

Search for ISU-90. That is what I want. I think they may take some updating to make it ATF compliant.

If it will be used as a Type 4 then it doesn't have to be lined with wood. The paint inside must be in good condition and there must be no exposed or "bare" metal. Any exposed bolts or screws must be painted over to make the interior "non-sparking."
