Looking for a club close to home here in KY and came across the Bluegrass Pyrotechnic Guild. Looks like they were very active including displays at PGI conventions in the past but based on their website looks like they lost steam and haven't done anything this year and may even be defunct. Any members here on the boards or anyone know anything about them ???

It would appear they are using another pyro site for their club.

Who can predict the future of any fireworks club. Look at what happened to the Crackerjacks in Virginia a few years back. If you or anyone is interested in a pyro club, why not send an email to the club directly. I went to their site and all their contact information is there. My suggestion is to mail an all inclusive email. For example your name , age, experience, physical location and phone number. I suspect they want to make an assessment of new applicants before allowing you to join.

BPG is a very active club. They don't have any active members here that I am aware of.

Butterman,
As Northern Sky said, BPG is still around. The website is in the process of being remade. You can still use the site to download an application for membership. Pretty much as Dave said in the above post. We are having our next meeting on Oct.1st. If interested PM me and I can give you the details.

I may try and make it up there, especially if Jimbo is going to wrestle fathead the ram.
