I am wondering if any one is a member of the NFA. They had a expo and trade show in my home town of grand rapids mi. Last night they held their public display at the berlin raceway. I checked out their website to get an idea if it would be worth being a member of that association. Is anyone a member?

Yes - i have been a member for 15 years. The NFA is basically the business side of the fireworks industry.
However for about $50 yr you can become "friends of fireworks" member. http://www.nationalfireworks.org/join/
The places that they attend for convention varies from yr to yr. next year in 2017 it is in Erie, Pa. Not sure where it is in 2018.
IMO it is worth it just to attend the nightly demos and trade show.
