I have been reading on here about how badly expesive insurance is on here. People saying 5000 per year or 1800 per show. I called csi which is in California and for 2 shows a year they quoted me only 1500! For the year at 2 shows. I know some of u shoot more then that but that's much much lower then I expected and doable. They also have a finance option to pay that off for a year after paying 25% down

It was 1 million dollars liability for 1.3 fireworks hobbiest. The minimum she would quote was for 2 shows per year.

CSI Insurance is one of my advertisers. The more I do this pyro stuff the more I learn. One month ago someone that follows my videos send me a copy of an insurance certificate from one of CSI competitors. It was more than $1500.00 for one 1.3 display. Another person following my videos bought 1.4 Consumer Fireworks insurance and paid $600.00 for single consumer display. If you know anything about insurance and pricing you have to really look at the coverage these policies provide. The deductible would be the first thing to look at in addition to other details. It is nice to see these insurance companies are adapting to the new advanced not for profit fireworks enthusiast. Years ago they had a flat out $5000.00 per year no matter how many display you did.

Yeah ur right about that. Just got a quote from another company rrm&h 1 million for 3500 per year 2 shows or 1800 per show....far cry from last one. Csi is where I recommend people to go. Minnesota requires 1.5 million and there quote for that was not a whole lot more then the 1 million quote

$1500 minimum and it doesn't matter 1.4 or 1.3g

Worth a shot though, thanks. PS this lady's not very nice. She doesn't seem very interested in the hobbyists business. Everything seems very geared to full blow businesses
