I was beginning to think back to the old phantom magazines i used to get as a kid in the 90's and remembered seeing the F-65 aircraft carrier. I don't know why i still love them, idk if because it floats or if it shoot off those two little planes?? lol

I only ever got it once and i wouldn't mind getting a few now. Anymore i always dart to the 500 gram cakes but maybe next purchase, ill grab some kiddy stuff and reminisce on old childhood memories.

Whats yours????

I second the aircraft carrier, even looking to carry some for sale in 2017. Also working on jumping jacks that actually jump.

Hands down my childhood favorite firework was the M-80's. We never had a problem getting M-80's (yes, the real ones!) when I was a kid. The only prohibition was the amount of $$ we could scrape up to buy them. We blew up everything from trees to mail boxes to things the statute of limitations probably still hasn't run out on!

Those things were simply amazing, and we were amazingly lucky to have survived using them. When I was 16 I used to work at a gas station on a very busy 6 lane road running right through town. This one Saturday afternoon we were lighting M-80's and throwing them as high in the air as we could and watching them blow up. Well, my aim was off on one throw, and I threw it up over the road, and it came down and literally bounced off the windshield of a passing car, right at the instant it should have gone off. This is how I know there really is a God! The thing bounced off the windshield and fell harmlessly to the ground. The ONLY "dud" I ever bought. Amazingly stupid move on my part, and it still scares me to think what might have happened if that thing went off. I'd probably still be in prison.

It is hard for me to resist 'adult' snappers. I bought 30 boxes of Hercules this year. Passed them out to everybody over the weekend and we had a ton of fun scaring the crap out of each other. Grabbed a case (600 boxes) of the Mandarin equivalent this year! Too much fun.

The tank is a staple among the novelty but can also bring the biggest upset as in all the flaws they tend to have. But don't get me wrong, when they work. They kickass. Lol

my favorite fireworks growing up were stick rockets. I perfected the rapid fire bottle rockets, the old kind with the paper fuses. I used to fix up 6 oz sky rockets with firecrackers or combine the stars from a few into one and see how much I could load them up. I even attached one to a paper airplane I made once although that didn't end up so good as I caught my dad's field on fire and had some splainin to do when he got home from work and seen the big burnt patch. I really loved the tiger rockets too, they howled when they went up and I would doctor them up for a better "show". I used to order them thru the mail from sioux falls, south dakota from a little mailer we received about a month before the 4th of July. It was always so hard waiting for them to come on a delivery truck but always worth the wait. Life was so much simpler back then... Just order what you wanted from the mailer and 2 weeks later it was magic time!! :D

I would have paid to see that lol the clustering bees rocket was the first bottle rocket I got, in a pack of six. I was lucky because most my age then first got those moon travelers
