Anyone tried these cheap things from china. I bought one with some extra e matches. But realized they are only a foot long. Can these be extended a few feet with some cheap wire??

Yep, no problem-just make sure wires don't short(touch) at splice. PBP

I am going to close this thread about the import firing systems. I don't want to clutter the board with, is this $50 system better than that $60 system etc. There are many inexpensive systems out there. They are great starter systems to get a taste of wireless firing. Some give you two small electric match. Any of these will give you a chance to try out electric wireless firing. Pick any one of them.
.
I prefer we focus on two of the advanced systems, the Cobra and the FireTek. If you are new at this you are going to have to commit $400 on up one of the high end systems to really advance into pyrotechnics. This is an expensive hobby there is no doubt. Once you have made to the point of being on this discussion forum and if you have the intention to advance , you need to make a financial commitment to purchase a high end system. I mentioned these import systems on my YouTube channel to bring more novice fireworks users into wireless firing with hopes they advance into a higher end system.
If anyone has general questions about electric wireless firing please ask but leave out the website links to the multiple import systems.
