just be sure everything out of the cakes etc fired also a good idea to be out in a good open area with a water source just incase if you want to proceed with it.

Lol I burnt 60 cases of cakes yesterday... there was definitely some that didn't go. It was like a war zone all day. Never know when thever next boom is coming

I just hand lit about 30 cakes or so last night so clean up was fairly easy.
I just threw everything in the burn pile. I do take a quick look in each tube to make sure all shells fired before throwing it in the fire. You don't have to look all the way to the bottom of the tube, just glance just inside the tube and look for the black powder burn. As long as you see a black powder burn inside the tube, no shell at the bottom.

We just leave ours out for the trashmen. Luckily, since we cut the paper tops off, we didn't have too bad of a cleanup!

My buddy text me from the dump this morning. He and his father showed up with 1000lbs of trash from his show. Fortunately I didn't have that problem. I've got about 30 lawn size garbage bags full of used cakes. I'm just going to dump them in the recycle truck when it rolls through this Saturday.

We burn ours, also pull the paper off the top before shooting make much less of a mess.
