Came across some roman candles I bought about 6-8 years ago cleaning out a closet, would you trust these to work properly? They where on a shelf, not banged around at all and kept dry still wrapped in their original packs of 8

as cheap as roman candles are id say just toss them, it doesnt take but a good humid week to really mess them up

There is a big market for old fireworks items. If they are not taking up valuable space and you are worried about shooting them hang on to them and you may be able to sell them to a collector

as long as it was dry where they were stored they'll be fine,you gotta remember fireworks spend a whole lotta time outside in the heat and humidity weather its at a stand. storage container. coming across the ocean etc.

I have fireworks that are at least 5 years old and see no problem lighting them. If they were kept clean and dry you should be fine.

I have items stored in Rubbermaid totes for 10 years that light up without a hitch. No expiration date on fireworks as far as I know. So long as they have been kept dry, light em up!
