Hello, sir my name is XXXXXXX XXXXXXX, I live in XXXXXXX California. I just recently got caught with fireworks by the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, I was pulled over cited with a misdemeanor and probably will have to pay a fine of (?) and my fireworks were confiscated (197 LBS worth). I was coming from Pharump Nevada driving on Death Valley highway in California heading home. I love fireworks and have been into them since I was a kid. My question is XXXXX..............

I got word the Death Valley Road is 45 minutes shorter back to California however, this is the road that the authorities stake out to look for fireworks coming back into California from Nevada.
Some remember when buying fireworks in Nevada and heading back to California.
